What is the perfect way to visit the ancient city of Pompeii?

Many love to visit the ancient ruins of the submerged city of Pompeii. A city that has been preserved for many years and has been brought to light thanks to the excavations of archaeologists over time.

The beauty of this place is such because gradually new finds come to light. Pompeii is a place that always fascinates and surprises, each time with a new discovery and a new area to visit.

The city has been preserved almost practically intact. The ancient inhabitants of the place, the "Pompeiians", did not know that the mountain on whose slopes they had built their city was in fact a volcano, Vesuvius. Not even the earthquakes, 17 years before the eruption had made the inhabitants suspicious.

When in 79 A.D. Vesuvius erupted, this submerged Pompeii and all the neighbouring cities of Stabia, Herculaneum and Oplontis.

Pompeii is truly unique in the world; it extends over an area of 66 hectares. Through its streets it is still possible, even today, to visit the intact thermal baths dating back to 2000 years ago.
